Home & Business Computing Ltd.

Home & Business Computing Ltd. was founded in July 2001 by Nick Kulkarni.

This is a real family company run by Nick (Managing Director) his wife Anna (Company Secretary) and Len (aka Babs) (Shop Manager). We believe small is beautiful and that most companies are too big to care.

We aim to produce a quality service at a reasonable price. Despite the fact we are a progressive IT company we have old fashioned values. We believe the customer should be treated with respect, that you should be able to get sensible advice from qualified staff and that a local shop is part of the community. We were always impressed with the old shops where you can walk in, have a chat with the staff, get advice on what you needed and if they did not have it they would get one for you.

Home and Business Computing Ltd. was chosen as a name for the company because that's what we do and we wanted you the Customer to know it. We hope to achieve: a close working relationship with our clients. Our Tag Line "Keeping the wheels turning smoothly" recognises the spanner in the works that computing problems cause and how important it is to avoid those problems if you can.

We all believe that:
If you have a problem you need to talk to someone face to face.
If you want quality help and advice you need qualified staff.
Therefore a local shop manned by qualified and experienced people is what you really need not sales people and £1 a minute help lines.
We also believe that such service can never compete on price and should not try to. Even if it does cost slightly more on some things it is often cheaper in the long run. Others may offer cheaper prices but not all that glitters is gold especially if you have a problem! There is an old saying...
"The sweetness of cheap price does not cover the bitter aftertaste of poor quality."
So now you have a choice: do you buy your suits "off the peg" or have it hand made? Do you have your car serviced by your mate or is looked after by a professional? Do you buy your computer from the craftsman that made it or from a salesman that only knows what it says on the box?
We think you know what we mean.
